Painted brick and a very good rug.
Tampa
My Parkland Estates project starts with painted white brick and dark wide-plank floors. Then come gray velvet, warm brass and art with a lot to say.

In the living room, gray velvet sofas sit on a red and navy Persian rug before a white painted brick fireplace, with a brass-framed mirror and sconces. The dining room seats eight around a square white pedestal table under a brass chandelier, with an open stair and black metal railing beyond.
The breakfast nook is a white built-in banquette with charcoal cushions, a walnut and white table and white spindle chairs against painted brick. The kitchen keeps it crisp: white shaker cabinetry, charcoal counters, a limestone brick backsplash and a stainless hood. Everyday rooms deserve real design too.

A floor plan that fights you? A historic home whose inside forgot its outside? My assistant reaches out first. If it sounds like a good fit, I’ll call. Then we meet at my office, centrally located in St. Petersburg.
