Interior design St. Petersburg & Tampa

Homes that feel like you. Anchors not included.

I’m Michelle Jennings, and I’ve been doing this for 28 years. Whole-house and condo renovations. Interiors reworked so they flow better. Historic homes, inside true to the outside. Furniture, down to the small details.

Five homes I love

Florida homes, minus the seashells.

No “Life’s a Beach” signs. No seafoam everything. No driftwood, unless you really mean it. Instead: interiors that respect the architecture, from 1920s bungalows to downtown condos. Bold wall color with striking art. I call it warm minimalism. St. Pete Life called it Beyond Coastal.

First, tell me how you take your coffee.

I get to know everything about you. Where you like to vacation. What type of music you love. We get personal because your home should support you and make you feel good every day.

I’m a design graduate of the University of Florida’s College of Architecture. My family has called St. Petersburg home for three generations. My process leads us to the best outcome. It’s easier than you think. You’ll have fun!

Meet Michelle

From hello to champagne

  1. 01

    Getting to know you

We sign on. I interview you about your lifestyle and aesthetic vision. Measurements come next. Then we review design inspiration together.

  2. 02

    Designing

I take the design halfway. Then we meet to talk about how it’s going.

  3. 03

    Field trips

We visit vendors and suppliers together: plumbing, countertops, cabinetry and more. Wear comfortable shoes.

  4. 04

    Presentation day

I finish the design and present it: drafted floor plans, elevations and materials. I revise as needed. Then the final package goes out for bids.

  5. 05

    Build, install, celebrate

I visit the site and answer the contractor’s questions. Furniture, rugs and lighting arrive. Accessories get hand placed. Photos. Then champagne.

Tell me about your home.

A floor plan that fights you? A historic home whose inside forgot its outside? My assistant reaches out first. If it sounds like a good fit, I’ll call. Then we meet at my office, centrally located in St. Petersburg.
